More amazing destinations! Of these five, the first one to call to me is Santorini. I’ve always wanted to go there. Just the sight of that sparkling white architecture against the backdrop of the deep blue water makes it impossible to forget, when thinking of potential vacation spots. Second, for me, is the Swiss Alps. Interlaken looks like a magnificent choice for a European getaway I’d never forget. So much history there and those beautiful little villages look amazing. The one I’ve never even thought about is Croatia. I’m going to have to look more deeply into that, now that you’ve mentioned it here in your article. Switzerland has that natural beauty of the land itself and Croatia is an undiscovered gem of history and natural beauty. Croatia has been lost for awhile on the world scene for travel due to political turmoil but it has re-emerged as a must-see destination.
